- The firm, based in Phoenix, is creating a 20-megawatt renewable energy facility at its Sunshine Canyon Landfill. That facility is expected to power around 25,000 homes.
- A joint venture between DTE Biomass Energy and Aria Energy, Sunshine Gas Producers, worked with Republic to develop the facility.
