- Terms of the sale to Metallix, which is based in Shrewsbury, NJ, were not disclosed. The acquisition enables Metallix to upgrade its catalytic converter recycling services.
- With the ability to process four million pounds per year of ceramic converters, the Maxton plant has a platinum-group metals (PGM) recycling process for metal foil converters. The plant can process three and a half million pounds per year of the waste.
