Dive Brief:

• Covanta Holding Corp., a large waste-to-energy owner and operator, has signed an agreement with Waste Harmonics, a waste management consolidation services provider based in Victor, New York.
• Waste Harmonics will manage the transportation and delivery of waste, recyclables and organics to a number of different processing and disposal locations on behalf of Covanta. 
• The contract is for a two-year timeframe, with options that include four two-year mutual extensions.

Covanta operates nationally, and recently established an agreement to act as the food waste recycler for the Lake Compounce theme park, located in Bristol, Connecticut.
