- Covanta Holding Corp., based in Morristown, NJ, said it will upgrade the WTE facility, in accord with its renewed agreement with Onondaga Couny Recovery Resource Agency. The initial agreement between the two parties was formed in the early 1990s.
- In extending its agreement to maintain and operate the waste-to-energy and recycling operation in Jamesville, Covanta Holding Corp. also agreed to upgrade the county’s waste-to-energy plant.
- OCRRA recently secured bonds that enabled it to extend its working relationship with Covanta for another 20 years.
