• Covanta Holding Corp. has acquired two New Jersey transfer stations from Advanced Disposal. 

• The facilities are located in Paterson and Totowa, New Jersey.

• Both transfer stations are equipped to handle 2500 tons of municipal solid waste, construction debris and recycling daily.

Dive Insight:

This purchase marks the 14th and 15th transfer station the New Jersey-based company owns or operates in the US. Just days ago, the sustainable waste management and renewable energy company entered into a decade-long contract with Yarmouth, Massachusetts to operate the transfer station in the area.
