• The state of Arizona is holding a “Technology Recycling Day” for residents throughout the state.
• On Saturday, different drop-off locations will accept consumer electronic waste; Honeywell and Intel recycling centers will request a nominal fee for items containing Cathode Ray Tubes (CRT) such as tv sets. 
• The state started the e-waste collection program due to the need for an easy and convenient option for households to discard of electronic waste.

Analysts estimate that the global electronic waste management market will grow by 14.6% from 2014 to 2018. One factor behind the increase is a greater environmental awareness around the globe. The demand for electronics is also rising due to the fast pace of technological developments, which propels consumerism at lightning speeds as products become “obsolete.”
