Numerous waste companies have begun to commission or bring online renewable natural gas projects in 2023, spurred in part by corporate sustainability pledges and public incentives. While some companies tempered expectations about how quickly the facilities could come online, many were eager to press forward with ambitious growth plans in the sector, taking advantage of a strong RIN credit market for biomass-derived fuels.
